I'm a Korean Adoptee. I used to go clam diggin' with my bare feet in the Atlantic Ocean. I grew up as a musical and academic nerd.

I have dreams of making a career out of writing - my long time companion. For now, I'm appreciating every day I can stay home with my baby Jasmin.

I grew up rich, temporarily. That's how I learned that money is not like a relative - it's free to come and go as it pleases. I've done remarkable travelling and had amazing experiences on little or no money. I value memories and relationships over materialism.

I had an epiphany!

The "Debt Beast" is the alter-ego of "Frugal & Stressed"! It's like the other side of the coin! Except now, I'm dealing with a team of beasts since DH and I have combined finances. Ack!

Debt is the "yin" energy; saving is the "yang" energy.

IMO, spending is the yin energy; debt just juices up that energy.
